1. Scope
Tupolis may use cookies and similar storage/access technologies such as web storage, scripts or embedded-service technologies. The live Cookie Policy must reflect the actual production inventory.
2. Essential technologies
Strictly necessary technologies may be used where needed for functions such as authentication, security, session management, load balancing or saving a choice requested by the user.
3. Analytics
If Tupolis uses non-exempt analytics technologies, they must remain disabled until appropriate consent is obtained. Analytics must not be installed merely because this policy describes the category.
4. Marketing
Marketing/remarketing technologies must remain disabled unless they are actually used and valid consent has been obtained. Child-facing areas should not use behavioural advertising.
5. Embedded media and YouTube
Tupolis uses or may use embedded YouTube content. Depending on the implementation, YouTube/Google may store or access information on the user's device or process interaction data. Where consent is required, the embed must not load until consent is given.
Some YouTube videos may require the browser to be signed into an appropriate Google/YouTube account. Being logged into Tupolis does not mean the browser is logged into Google/YouTube.
If a video will not play, users may need to check Google/YouTube sign-in, browser permissions, cookie choices, privacy settings or blocking extensions.
6. Consent choices
Where consent is required, users must be able to Accept all, Reject non-essential or Manage preferences without optional categories being preselected.
7. Changing choices
A persistent Cookie Preferences control should allow choices to be changed. Withdrawing consent should be as straightforward as giving it.
8. Children
High-privacy defaults should apply to child use. Optional profiling, behavioural advertising and unnecessary third-party tracking must not be enabled by default for children.
9. Cookie inventory
The live inventory is published on the Cookie Policy page at `/policies/cookies`, including the Tupolis sign-in cookie (`kp_session`), the consent preference cookie (`tupolis_consent`), and optional YouTube/Google embed technologies when you allow embedded media.
Before publication, Cursor/People Building must populate and maintain an actual inventory including name/provider, purpose, category, duration and whether it is first- or third-party. Do not publish invented cookie names.
