1. Scope
These rules apply to restricted professional areas including the People Building Licensee Forum and NLP4Kids Licensee Forum.
2. Professional conduct
Use forums for legitimate professional learning, peer discussion and authorised resource sharing. Maintain appropriate professional standards even during disagreement.
3. Confidentiality and anonymisation
Do not disclose information you are not entitled to share. Case discussion must be genuinely anonymised and minimised. A combination of age, school, town, family events, diagnosis or unusual facts may identify somebody even where their name is removed.
4. Children
Use particular care with information about children. Include only what is genuinely necessary for the professional discussion.
5. Safeguarding
Forums are not safeguarding-reporting or emergency systems. Follow the safeguarding procedure appropriate to your role and take immediate emergency action where required.
6. Uploads
Authorised uploads may be used for appropriate professional resources. Do not upload routine client records, therapy notes, medical/safeguarding files, DBS/identity documents, financial credentials, passwords or other unnecessarily sensitive material.
7. Data protection responsibility
Practitioners remain responsible for their own professional/data-protection obligations. A restricted forum does not remove those obligations.
8. Intellectual property
People Building/NLP4Kids materials remain protected. Do not redistribute them outside the permissions granted by the relevant franchise, licence, training or other agreement.
9. External AI
Do not copy confidential forum discussions, identifiable client information or substantial protected materials into external AI tools without appropriate authority and lawful basis.
10. Peer discussion limits
Forum discussion is not automatically formal clinical supervision, legal advice, medical advice, safeguarding supervision or regulatory advice.
11. Security and access
Protect practitioner credentials and report suspected compromise. Access may be removed when professional entitlement ends.
12. Moderation and reporting
People Building may moderate, remove content or restrict access where appropriate. Concerns can be reported to info@peoplebuilding.co.uk.
